The room was large and lovely looking and had amazing views of the ocean. Extras like tea and coffee making equipment, a writing desk, and ironing facilities were appreciated. The hotel was in a stunning location, close to the freeway.

Average sized, new-fashioned room with great amenities. Excellent food for breakfast. The pool area is nice too.

The venue was nicely decorated and incredibly beautiful, I loved the stay and the location was amazing close enough to downtown and all the restaurants and bars and the ocean side and many dining options walking distance. The check in was quick, the staff was amicable and outstandingly accommodating. The rooms of the hotel were new-fashioned and modest with the Jacuzzi tub and comfortable beds, as example. The service was friendly with parking on the street.

Fresh and stylish rooms featuring a comfy King bed and a view of the ocean are definitely a highlight here 🌊. The location is fantastic, as you'll be super close to all the dining spots, including a handy grocery store, and a variety of restaurants. Plus, it's just a quick stroll to Avenida del Mar for even more options.

It is really close to everything and the rooms were really comfortable. The staff was AMAZING! The front desk was prompt and always ready to help.
There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was satisfactory or better!! I would warn that it is quite a distant from the beach though for people unfamiliar with the area.

Staff was able to move my room.
One side of the hotel is so close to the freeway it's actually unsettling. The view and the constant roar of cars. I don't know how hey ever built this so close. Oh yes, they moved me to a second floor room with a 'view of the ocean'. I hope the third floor had a better view, given that I could see bits of ocean through a lot of buildings between this hotel and the ocean. It really should be considered a motel.

The bed was like a cloud:)
Paid 170$ for a room that seemed like it needed some fixtures.. Broken toilet seat, bathroom sink was clogged..

Hotel was not even half full and they put us in a room right next to the freeway and the gym. Staff didn't give us the correct number of breakfast tickets and deactivated our room keys after one night in error. Room itself was comfortable and clean.

Our first experience was walking in and being told that they had no regular king sized rooms, they graciously offered an upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi. I humbly accepted. We ended up having a small plumbing problem which they quickly offered to relocate us to a new room. Staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable! Couldn't ask for more!
The plumbing in our original room started to backflow and the second room had bugs in the tub.

Location for easy downtown access was excellent.
Would not stay there again unless the room was on the west side of the property.

The staff went above and beyond to help make our stay great. I asked about a frisbee golf course near by and no one knew any to speak of. A few minutes later I walked by the front desk and the gentlemen working asked if I had any luck. I said no. He then said hold on a second let me call a friend of mine who might know. Within 5'minutes he had the names and ph numbers of course within a half our drive. Irag who worked in the restaurant was fantastic. Taking special care of us and just friendly service. The customer service was first rate. Yes it's near the freeway but it is close to everything and the windows are double pained and it wasn't an issue. This is not a 5 star hotel but we got 5 star service and for the money in would rather pay less and have great service any day. Well done Holiday Inn.
